Fresh Blackberry Margarita

This blackberry margarita is super refreshing and it gets most of its sweetness from fresh blackberries. 

Rather than the usual sweet and sour mix, it has a little added frozen limeade concentrate along with fresh lime juice. The flavor from lots of fresh blackberry juice shines through. 

Fresh Fig Margarita

This fresh fig margarita is a tasty twist on everyone's favorite salty-rimmed tequila and lime cocktail. 

I decided to try this fresh Fig Margarita when my cousin gave me a precious bag of four perfectly ripe figs from her Mission Fig tree. If you get perfectly ripe figs, you need to use them right away. It was the weekend, so why not a cocktail? 

Jalapeño Mandarin Margarita

This margarita, made with tequila reposado, orange liqueur, fresh Mandarin juice, jalapeño chiles, and grilled limes, is slightly spicy, a little bit smoky, and totally refreshing. 

Plus, the glass for this margarita is rimmed with Tajín, rather than just salt and lime.

This Rose Margarita is a seriously delicious and interesting cocktail. The addition of a touch rose water to the mix adds a wonderful fragrance and flavor. 

With its faint scent of roses, this margarita is so intriguing (and of course, tasty). It's definitely meant for sipping.

I just happened to have some homemade limoncello in the back of the refrigerator, and because Tuesday is National Margarita Day, I thought I'd play around with it to make a margarita.

You can serve this papaya margarita either straight up like I did, or "on the rocks."
