These whole grain spelt rolls with freshly milled spelt and sourdough starter are incredibly flavorful.
Of course they are wonderful warm from the oven with butter, but my favorite way to have them is to slice them in half, toast them, and top them with a fried egg and bacon.

Sweet and Salty Popcorn Cookies
These sweet and salty popcorn cookies are so satisfyingly tasty. You get crunch, you get sweet, you get saltiness, and you get chocolate, all in the guise of a little mini popcorn ball of a cookie.
The best part of these cookies is that you can have five or six of them, as opposed to one or two "regular" cookies. They are pretty much all air, right? That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Another advantage to making these cookies is that you don't have to fire up your oven! The only cooking involved is making browned butter and melting the marshmallows that hold the goodness together.

Crispy Tilapia with Ginger-Scallion Sauce
Let me warn you, this Crispy Tilapia with Ginger-Scallion Sauce is not necessarily pretty. It might actually creep you out. Look away if if you are squeamish.
However, it is completely freaking amazing!

I have a delicious and elegant pan fried halibut filet recipe with zucchini that I've never posted.. buuuuut.... I tend to be distracted by shiny things....

This dish is not just scrambled eggs with some shrimp thrown in. Nooooo. there are seven other ingredients and a screaming hot wok involved. And "velveting!"

Semolina Bread with Apricots and Sage
This semolina bread with apricots and sage is a wonderful combination of sweet and savory. The apricots add a sweetness and the aroma of sage totally reminds me of Thanksgiving. It's a wonderful bread for breakfast with butter and honey, or even some melted cheddar. It's also amazing with soup.

Wild Yeast San Francisco Style Sourdough Bread
I am pretty happy with this Wild Yeast San Francisco Style Sourdough Bread. The bread has an amazing sourdough "tang," and has a lovely airy and gelatinized crumb. Plus, my sourdough starter did all of the work.
