I'm so happy with these Air Fryer Sriracha-Honey Chicken Wings! It was really difficult to not keep them all to myself.

This is a super easy recipe with just a few ingredients. I baked them in the air fryer for 30 minutes, and then immediately tossed them in a sauce that is easy to make while the wings are baking. The wings were super crispy, even when coated with the honey-sriracha.

I love wings anyway, but preparing them in the air fryer was so easy. Note: This was the first recipe I had tried using an air fryer back when I first got one eight years ago and I've been a devotee ever since.

So what is an air fryer? It's a countertop appliance that has a heating element above a basket that holds the food and uses a vortex of hot air flowing to quickly cook and crisp the food. I can say that these wings were pretty miraculous. Honestly, I'm not trying to sell you anything, but this was really cool.

These days, since I first got my air fryer, you can even find the air fryer feature in toaster ovens and in other combination countertop multi-use appliances. I am thinking that you might be able to duplicate the results by cooking the wings on a rack in a convection oven with a pan on a rack below to catch the grease.... but this was so much easier, and easier to clean too.

If you are an air fryer fan, please let me know about your favorite way to use it!

I've had a lot of fun making chicken wings and snacks, including Air Fryer Korean-Style BBQ Chicken Wings, Buffalo Chicken Wings, and Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients in these Wings:

Chicken Wings: Be sure to separate the flats and drummets and remove the tips.

For the Sauce: Honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, butter, and lime juice.

For Garnish: You can choose cilantro, chives or scallions, or parsley.

To Make these Wings:

Air fry the wings in the air fryer for about 30 minutes. During the cooking time, be sure to turn the wings every few minutes so that they evenly brown.

While the wings are in the air fryer, combine the sauce ingredients and bring them to a boil for about 3 minutes to thicken.

When the wings are fully cooked, toss them in the sauce to coat.

These wings are best served immediately but they are also great as leftovers (if you have any). You can reheat them in the toaster oven, or even the air fryer!

  1. U am deeply touched. I wish all our graduate students had your commitment to the pursue of truth. Of course, I had no other option but to get one, although I did get help from a loving husband, who said "you simply cannot leave Karen air-frying alone."

you will never be alone. In 24 hours my new toy arrives and I will jump on it without hesitation

    great job on the wings!

    3. I have the 6 quart NuWave Air Fryer. I love it. It is big enough to cook a turkey breast or a whole chicken or even a Pork Butt. To be honest, I haven't tried 'wet' things but now I have the right accessory to do that. I'll let you know.

  14. BEST WINGS EVER!!! I made these wings for my husband on Friday and we devoured them in less than 10 minutes. They were easy to make and I already had all of the ingredients in my pantry. My husband forbid me to give this recipe to anyone! He said "why go out for wings when we can make them this good at home and with less fat!" Thank you for this recipe. Got any more???

  17. I need to tell you... so I found your recipe last year and honestly I made it so many times for everyone that came to mine because it's SOO DELICIOUS!! I alter the amount of the ingredients a little because I like mine slightly more saucy, but the sauce has just the right kick and it's so tasty while still simple and easy.
And now I'm pregnant and I'm put off eating chicken, but when I have chicken drumsticks with this sauce... oh my goodness. I crave it. Drooling at the thought. I'm making it again tonight for dinner! Honestly love it and so grateful for you and this recipe haha. Thank you!
