Applejack Rabbit Cocktail

This Applejack Rabbit Cocktail is a delicious combination of apple brandy, lemon juice, orange juice, and maple syrup, and garnished with a fresh apple slice. It's both sweet and tart, just like your favorite apple.

This post is sponsored in conjunction with AppleWeek. I received product samples from sponsor companies to aid in the creation of the AppleWeek recipes. All opinions are mine alone.

Applejack Rabbit Cocktail

This Applejack Rabbit cocktail is so smooth, bright, and wonderfully flavored. It's especially delicious garnished with a slice of an Envy apple.

You can use any grade of maple syrup you have on hand, but be sure to use real maple syrup. I used Grade A maple syrup, but a Grade B syrup would add an even deeper flavor.

Applejack Rabbit Cocktail with an apple slice garnish

Also, be sure to use fresh squeezed lemon and orange juices for the cocktail, and garnish it with a thin slice of an Envy apple

Envy apples are gorgeous red apples that are a cross between Braeburn and Gala apples. They are sweet and crunchy, and are the ideal snacking apple. When cut, the flesh of the apple doesn't quickly turn brown like most apples (see how bright the sliced apples are in the photo!). I am very excited that they are a Gold Sponsor of Apple Week.
